Lawrenceville Farmers Market

The Lawrenceville Farmers Market is a program of Lawrenceville United, held at Bay 41, 115 41st Street. Its mission is to widen access to fresh, healthy food, especially for low-income families, older adults, and people with low food access, while growing local farm and small-business sales. Each week the stalls cover produce, meat, prepared foods, bread, baked goods, beverages, packaged goods, pantry items, and home and body products. A partnership with Just Harvest, funded by the City of Pittsburgh's Food Justice Fund, matches SNAP/EBT spending, and WIC and Senior FMNP vouchers can be used on fresh fruit and vegetables from produce vendors. Shopping carts are at the Info Booth, and staff or volunteers can help carry bags to a car or the bus stop.
