About this event
Cherry Crest Adventure Farm in Ronks, at 150 Cherry Hill Road, opens pick-your-own fields for sunflowers, zinnias, pumpkins, and popcorn. The sunflower field covers 6 acres and 22 varieties, with staggered plantings. The zinnia field has 12 varieties. The pumpkin patch supplies wagons so guests can load fruit picked from the vine in many shapes and colors. Popcorn is picked as ears from the stalk and can be popped at home. Flower fields and the pumpkin and popcorn fields run on crop and weather conditions.
Our take: Walk the 22 sunflower varieties first, then load a farm wagon with pumpkins and pick popcorn ears to pop at home.
Good to know
Flower, pumpkin, and popcorn fields open through Oct. 31, weather and crop permitting.
