About this event
The Loudonville Independent Fair is put on by the Loudonville Agricultural Society, with livestock shows in the Show Tent at Central Park and garden tractor pulls on Wally Road. Durant Amusements runs the rides and games, and local acts take the West Main Street stage. A pie auction and cake contest sit at Main and Water, and the Loudonville Livestock Club Auction follows trophy and Kettering Award presentations. Antique farm machinery lines North Water Street, and the log cabin opens for visitors. The Golden Center in the Loudonville Public Library is the senior rest area, with WZLP 96.1 FM broadcasting live from the Merchants' Tent.
Our take: If the club sale is the draw, plan around the livestock auction in the Show Tent; tractor pulls stay out on Wally Road.
Good to know
Durant Amusements rides: Tuesday 3:00pm-10:00pm, Wednesday-Saturday 12:00pm-10:00pm. Restrooms at 124 South Brentwood Drive; porta pots at the Wally Road pull site, Fair Barn, and behind the Jr. Fair Tent.
