About this event
Genesee Country Village & Museum pairs two traditions in one weekend: its Holiday Market, with art, food and gift vendors from across Western New York, and Preparing for Winter in the Historic Village, where costumed interpreters show how 19th-century Western New Yorkers got ready for the cold season. Between the market and the village, visitors can hear Indigenous storytelling, join a Toward Freedom & Fairness tour, visit the farm or browse village-made goods in the Flint Hill Store.
Our take: Warm up with coffee or hot chocolate and a hand pie at the Hosmer Taproom inside Hosmer's Inn before heading back out to the village.
