Flaming Leaves Festival

Flaming Leaves Festival at the Olympic Jumping Complex, 5486 Cascade Rd in Lake Placid, pairs a fall fair with the US Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined National Championships. Local color, crafts, and peak foliage frame live music, plus face painting, caricature portraits, a kids barrel train, and kids crafts. Food trucks set up outside Intervales Lodge. Elite athletes take the jumps while Nordic combined races run at Mt. Van Hoevenberg. The Foam Show and ADK Raptor round out the family program. A Nordic combined athlete meet-and-greet, with autographs and a virtual-reality ski jump, is set at Intervales Lodge the evening before the festival.
