About this event
The Queen City Market is a curated one-day shopping event showcasing artisan crafters and vintage sellers from Western New York, held in the lobby of Seneca One downtown. Since 2011 it has set out to foster the growth of local independent vendors, and its 40-plus vendors are juried and handpicked for a wide selection that runs from jewelry and ceramics to vintage clothing, housewares and local foods. Organizers ask shoppers to bring a non-perishable food item or personal care product for FeedMore WNY.
Our take: Stay downtown into the evening and walk over to Fountain Plaza for Buffalo Place's tree lighting and free skating.
Parking
Weekend street parking in front of Seneca One and on nearby side streets is free where meters run Monday through Friday only, as most do; several parking ramps are nearby.
