South Shore Chili Cook Off

The South Shore Chili Cook Off, organized by the Tahoe Chamber at the Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe in Stateline, is a fall gathering that pairs local restaurants with first responders. Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe, South of North Brewery Co., Tahoe Bagel Co., Fox & Hound Smokehouse Grill & Bar, Cali Burger, Bruschetta, McPs Taproom, and others team with agencies that include South Lake Tahoe Police and Fire, Lake Valley Fire, Care Flight Reno, and the California Highway Patrol. Each pair cooks a signature chili, guests taste the entries, and the crowd votes for South Shore's Best Chili. The cook-off runs rain or shine.
