About this event
Spooky World Presents Nightmare New England sits in Litchfield, at 454 Charles Bancroft Hwy, about five minutes from Manchester and 45 minutes north of Boston. General admission is one pass through four haunted attractions, with Petrified, Nightmare in 3D, Asylum 47, the Haunted Hayride, The Colony, and Monster Midway on the grounds. VIP adds a lower-wait line, a second trip through the haunts if you return to the booth before close, and unlimited go-karts, mini golf, and batting cages at Mel's Funway Park while it is open. Timed tickets run every 15 minutes. Lights Out is the closing night, with the sound up and the lights off.
Our take: Choose VIP if you want Mel's Funway Park go-karts, mini golf, and batting cages before the haunts, and get back to the booth before close for the second walk-through.
Good to know
Arrive at least 30 minutes before your timed ticket. Costumes only on Halloween night and November 1-2; no masks or full-face makeup. No weapon props on Halloween. Attractions stay open 1 to 1.5 hours after the booth closes.
