About this event
Heartwood's Fall Festival fills Heartwood Park at 301 S. 145th St in Omaha with thousands of pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. Families can take a pumpkin and decorate it on site or carry it home to carve. Activities include all-day bingo with prizes both days, a nine-hole putt-putt course on Saturday, and Under An Acre Adventures on Sunday with farm animals and miniature pony rides. Local food trucks sell seasonal favorites. Champion snow sculptors carve giant pumpkins and turn a dozen hay bales into a 12-foot sculpture.
Our take: Saturday is the day for putt-putt; Sunday is the day for farm animals and miniature pony rides.
