About this event
Feast & Feathers is a Thanksgiving morning trail run at Lake Cunningham in Omaha, with a half marathon, a 10K over the lake's hills and a 5K, plus the free Little Gobbler Trot for kids on a short trail near the blue shed. All proceeds benefit Food Bank for the Heartland, and the race has raised over $364,000 since starting in 2012. Early registrants get a cozy long-sleeve tee, and half marathoners also get a mug.
Our take: Leave the stroller at home, since organizers recommend against strollers on the dirt trails.
Parking
Main lots at Lake Cunningham (Entrance #1, Marina); the suggested parking fee is 5 canned goods for Food Bank for the Heartland.
