Gallberry Corn Maze

Gallberry Corn Maze in Hope Mills is down-on-the-farm family fun, with food trucks and live music as well as the maze. Six acres of paths include a larger main maze and a smaller Fairy Tale maze for children. The list runs from a hayride, jumping pillow, and double barrel tube slides to a giant corn shack with a slide inside, a bouncy ball corral, cornhole, the Spookley the Square Pumpkin barn, barrel train rides, a sandbox fort, hay mountain, and a super-sized sandbox with diggers. Pig racing runs at the Gallberry Speedway, where guests pick one of four pigs. Mr. Hee-Haw, a donkey, is the mascot, joined by alpacas, pigs, bunnies, chickens, goats, a turkey, and peacocks. The Spookley Barn holds pumpkins for cooking and carving.

Our take: Do the barrel train and hayride before dusk, since both end then, and grab a concession bite for the covered picnic area.
