About this event
The Brunswick County Fair brings livestock competitions, animal exhibits, Dreamland Amusements' midway rides and live entertainment to the fairgrounds at Ash. The stage schedule includes Agri Cadabra shows, Brad the comedy hypnotist, David Bromley, Gage Saylor & The Creekside Boys, Half Tree, Max McCoy, a diaper derby, a Seaside Dance performance, the Brunswick School of Dance and a Sunday worship service with Beulah Baptist Church.
Our take: Look for the Bennett family's stand, run by the original owners of Bennett's Calabash Seafood Buffet, and its Calabash Seafood Burger topped with a crab cake and fried shrimp.

Good to know
Wed–Fri 4–11 p.m.; Sat 11 a.m.–11 p.m.; Sun 11 a.m.–6 p.m. after a 10 a.m. worship service. All bags checked; clear bags preferred. Under 18 must be with an adult 21 or older. No refunds or rain checks for weather.
