About this event
A Southern Times Square is The Market Common's New Year's Eve celebration, named for the countdown that ends with a large ball drop at midnight. The evening includes live music from a local Myrtle Beach favorite band, a drone show of 300 drones counting down to the new year, beer, wine and sparkling wine, and food trucks selling everything from mac n cheese to stuffed beignets. Kids get complimentary face painting, snow cones and light-up toys.
Our take: Entry is by free ticket only: shop at a Market Common business in the days before, then trade the receipt for tickets at the management office on Deville Street, behind Travinia Italian Kitchen.
