About this event

The Black Farmers' Market is an inclusive marketplace built to support current and future Black farmers and entrepreneurs, with markets in Durham and Raleigh that are open to everyone. Programming centers Black farmers while Cultivators Club, special events, and food-access programs welcome the wider community. Much of the produce is harvested just hours before it reaches the stalls. SNAP, the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program, and Double Bucks are available to shoppers. Vendor categories include farmers and planters, meat and seafood, prepared foods, health and beauty, and arts and crafts.

Our take: If you use SNAP or Double Bucks, either the Durham or Raleigh stop works, since those food-access programs are open to everyone in the community.
