About this event
Almond Farm in Concord calls itself Cabarrus County's favorite way to do fall, about 30 minutes from Charlotte and a short drive from Kannapolis and Harrisburg. Wander the pumpkin patch, climb on a hayride, get lost in the corn maze, and pick wildflowers among the farm animals. Every Saturday and Sunday an excavator dumps candy for guests. The entrance was rebuilt for a smoother check-in: southbound on 601 from Concord, the turn comes sooner.
Our take: Coming south on 601 from Concord, take the entrance turn sooner than you expect; from Midland and Locust it sits farther past the curve.
