About this event
The Jackson County Fair in Pascagoula is eight straight days of spinning rides, livestock exhibits, live entertainment, local vendors, and gumbo, traditionally set in the third week of October. Halls include the Civic Center, the Arts Building, and the Barn, with livestock and crops beside commercial and educational booths. The schedule adds Family Night, youth dance groups, an Elvis tribute show, a Songs of the South band competition on the Blue Ribbon Stage, and a livestock show and auction.
Our take: Saturday is the day to combine exhibits with the barn, since it is the last night the Arts Building, Civic Center, and Barn stay open and the livestock show and auction are that afternoon.
Good to know
Midway and rides generally 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. after opening night; exhibit buildings open after their first day. Times and specials are subject to change.
