About this event
Gulfport's annual Sugarplum Christmas Parade kicks off the holiday season downtown with festive floats, marching groups, performances and appearances by local businesses, schools and community organizations. Recent parades have rolled from 22nd Avenue to just past 25th Avenue and Highway 90, and past editions have capped a full day of downtown fun that included the Mistletoe and Main Street Christmas Fair. In 2025 the city turned the parade into A Champion's Christmas Parade to honor the Gulfport Admirals after their 7A state football title.
Our take: The early-afternoon start makes this an easy parade for young kids, with plenty of daylight left to get home.
