About this event
Hometown for the Holidays dresses Stillwater's Historic Main Street as a Christmas village across four themed weekends, raising money for Community Thread's Holiday Hope program. Small Business Weekend kicks off with shop specials, Twinkle Weekend brings a tree lighting and fireworks over the river, Candy Town Weekend centers on a gingerbread house contest, and Paws & Claus Weekend ends with a pet parade and costume contest. On Luminary Thursdays, glowing luminaries line Main Street while downtown shops and restaurants stay busy.
Our take: Pick Twinkle Weekend for the most spectacle, with the tree lighting and fireworks over the river on Saturday evening.
