Kackleberry Farms Fall Festival

Kackleberry Farms in Monroe, in Detroit and Toledo's backyard, runs a Fall Festival of more than 30 farm activities, a corn maze, and a you-pick pumpkin patch. Acres of zinnias and sunflowers are open for photos and for flowers you pick to buy. Other pieces include a food concession building, a mural by Presleymadeit, an animal barn with Valais Blacknose and Babydoll sheep, dahlia flowers, shade trees, and an apple blaster with a paintball area. The super-mega slide is unlimited with admission, and pig races, duck races, a pirate ship, and a jumping pillow sit on the same list. Apple cider donuts and other specialty treats are sold on site. The event runs rain or shine.

Our take: Take unlimited runs on the super-mega slide, then pick zinnias and sunflowers on the way out.
