About this event

Ann Arbor Farmers Market, at 315 Detroit Street, is a producer-only market run by City of Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation, with 130 vendors from Michigan. Stalls carry seasonal fruit and vegetables, mushrooms, herbs, microgreens, eggs, pastured meat and poultry, lake fish, flowers, honey, maple syrup, cheese, bread, jam, pickles, hot sauce, pastries, cider, and artisan goods from candles to ceramics. Cooking demos on the second Wednesday include samples and recipe cards, and food truck rallies with live music follow the third Wednesday market. Tokens for credit, debit, SNAP/EBT, and Double Up Food Bucks are sold at the market office trailer.

Our take: Aim for a second Wednesday if you want the cooking demo, with samples and recipe cards.

Parking

Parking in the market lot during Wednesday market, on Saturdays in winter, and as space allows on Saturdays year-round. Garages at Ann and Ashley and Fourth and Washington. Metered parking at the Community High School lot on Fifth Ave and on nearby streets. Bike racks on Fourth Ave, Fifth Ave, and Detroit Street. Four blocks from Blake Transit Center.
