About this event
Damariscotta Pumpkinfest & Regatta is a nonprofit festival in Damariscotta, Maine, organized around weigh-offs, a weekend regatta, a pumpkin drop, and a pumpkin parade. The lineup also includes a KidsZone, pumpkin art, a pumpkin derby, a pumpkin dessert contest, a pie-eating contest, the Tour De Gourd 5K, a food court, and buskers, plus a pumpkin hunt and a sensory-friendly event for kids.
Our take: Build the day around the giant-pumpkin weigh-offs, the regatta, or the pumpkin drop, then fill in with the parade and KidsZone.
