About this event
Wine on the Beach brings Maryland wineries to Ocean City for two days of tastings. A general admission ticket includes a wine glass and wine samples, and micro-brew and domestic beer are sold separately, with no samples. Delmarva cuisine, quality arts and crafts vendors and local live entertainment fill out the festival, and a designated driver program is offered.
Our take: Skip parking near the festival: the West Ocean City Park-and-Ride and the convention center's south lot are free, with $4 all-day shuttles.
Parking
Free parking at the West Ocean City Park-and-Ride (Route 50) with a $4 shuttle to the South Division Street transit station, a block from the festival, or at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center (40th St.) south lot with a $4 express shuttle.
Good to know
11 a.m.–7 p.m. both days; wine tastings 11 a.m.–6 p.m. Advance general admission $35 with photo ID; ages 13–20 $15 with a parent. Tickets are limited and may not be sold at the gate. Mastercard, Visa and cash.
