About this event
The Kendall Square Farmers Market sets up in Termeer Square in Kendall Square's Canal District, next to MIT and the neighborhood's biotech labs. The canal has kayak access, so you can even reach the market by water. Managed by the nonprofit Mass Farmers Markets, it brings farms such as Freedom Food Farm and Spring Brook Farm, offers a weekly SNAP Match, and in 2024 launched a SNAP-subsidized market box.
Our take: Pair a Thursday lunch at the market with a walk along the canal through the Canal District.
Good to know
Thursdays, noon–6 p.m., at 675 W. Kendall St. SNAP, SNAP Match, HIP, WIC and Senior coupons accepted.
