About this event
Merry & Bright Bayou Lights is a new holiday celebration that transforms the Bayou Lafourche waterfront and downtown Thibodaux into a festive destination with lights, illuminated displays and family-friendly experiences. It is a joint effort of Friends of Bayou Lafourche, the Kiwanis Club of Thibodaux, Louisiana's Cajun Bayou Tourism, Thibodaux Main Street and the City of Thibodaux, with the Lorio Foundation as presenting sponsor. Organizers aim to draw visitors downtown, support local businesses and highlight Bayou Lafourche as a centerpiece of Thibodaux.
