Smoke & Barrel: A Celebration of Fine Bourbon, BBQ & Whiskey

Smoke & Barrel, established in 2018, takes place on the lawn of the Calcasieu Parish Courthouse beneath a canopy of majestic live oaks and calls itself the premiere spirits tasting event in Southwest Louisiana. At the Grand Tasting, leading pitmasters pair BBQ with nearly 100 different bourbons, scotches and whiskeys, alongside top regional bands and works from local artisans and craftsmen. The weekend also includes the Cocktail Royale, a Distiller's Dinner at Historic City Hall with gourmet hors d'oeuvres from one of Lake Charles' newest and most celebrated restaurants, and a Sunday Smokin' Brunch. Smoke & Barrel Inc. is a nonprofit that partners with United Way of Southwest Louisiana.
