About this event
The Fishing for the Girls Rodeo brings anglers to Myrtle Grove Marina for two days of fishing, live music, food, prizes and fellowship. Adults compete for redfish, speckled trout, drum and the biggest non-category fish, while kids under 12 have their own redfish, trout and catfish categories. Friday ends with a Pink Party at the marina, and Saturday brings Will Isemann live, a kid zone with games, prizes and a live auction, closing with a memorial silent prayer. Rodeo shirts and hats are sold on site.
Our take: Come out for Saturday's weigh-in party, when food and soft drinks are free and Will Isemann plays all afternoon.
Parking
Myrtle Grove Marina, Myrtle Grove.
