About this event
In Cajun folklore the Fifolet is a mischievous blue flame said to appear deep in a Louisiana swamp, guarding buried treasure and drawing people off the safe path. In downtown Baton Rouge that story becomes a Halloween weekend of costumes built around three signature pieces: a pub crawl, a Halloween parade, and a costume ball. A central theme ties the three into one stretch of downtown celebration. Parade crowds, pub-crawl crews, and ball guests all fold into the same tradition.
