The Spanish Town Mardi Gras Parade rolls through Baton Rouge's Spanish Town neighborhood the Saturday before Mardi Gras. It is put on by the Society for the Preservation of Lagniappe in Louisiana (SPLL), which also holds a ball at the River Center.
