Jingle Bell Run – Kansas City is based at Chicken N Pickle on West 135th Street in Overland Park, where the pre-race festivities include an ice rink, pictures with Santa, mascots and characters, a hot cocoa station, a kids craft area and a silent auction. The timed or untimed 5K run/walk and a 1-mile route start together after a warm-up, and a VIP brunch of biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon and toast is among the team incentives.
