About this event
The Waterman family opened Waterman's Farm Market in 1978 so people could pick their own produce or buy the same farm-fresh food at a country market. At 7010 East Raymond Street in Indianapolis, that idea is now billed as a farm in the city, with a fall festival built around a pumpkin patch, corn maze, petting zoo, dinos, rides, games, and a farm market. Fresh produce is sold Tuesday through Sunday, and market hours differ from festival hours. A farm school runs on selected weekdays.
Our take: Walk the corn maze and petting zoo, then stop at the farm market for fresh produce on the way out.
