Lark Ranch Loogootee Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch

Lark Ranch Loogootee is the original Lark Ranch, in the hills of Martin County in southern Indiana. In 2001 the Lark family began hosting school field trips here, and the fall visit still starts at this farm. Guests can walk the corn maze, pick pumpkins, ride a mile-long train, see animals including highland cows, and use rides from bounce pillows to a carousel. Beef in the in-house kitchen comes from Lark Ranch cattle, with burgers, funnel cakes, and apple cider slushies among the options. Admission covers the rides; gem mining, pony rides, and the apple cannon are add-ons. The farm is at 3145 Killion Ml Road, an easy day trip from Bloomington, Jasper, or French Lick.

Our take: Eat from the in-house kitchen if you want beef raised on Lark Ranch.
