About this event
The Headless Horseman Festival at Conner Prairie in Fishers is billed as the place where historic chills and carnival thrills collide. Guests try carnival games, watch Circle City Fire turn fire into art, and catch live music and magic, including a Sleepy Hollow one-man show and a marionette show. The signature scare is a hayride through the woods. Food runs from burgers, pizza, and pretzels to kettle corn, with Kettle Corn Scare and Sun King's Headless Horseman beer at Sleepy Hollow Tavern and fall treats at the Apple Store. It is a limited-capacity event.
Our take: Book a hayride time before you arrive and watch the forecast, since weather delays past 9 p.m. cancel the festival for that night.
Parking
Parking in lots and fields at 13400 Allisonville Road.
Good to know
Evening festival; museum grounds close earlier on festival days. Guests under 16 must be with an adult. Barrel Train riders must be under 48 inches. Corn maze and Haunted Trail availability to be determined.
