About this event

The Glenview Farmers Market was started in 1988 by the Glenview Women of Today and met at Jackman Park until the Glenview Park District took over in 2007 and moved it to Historic Wagner Farm. The market is built around local farms, with goods grown within 200 miles of Glenview: seasonal produce, meat, eggs, cheese, bread, pastries, cut flowers, coffee, chocolates, French pastries, smoked fish, herbs, honey, and empanadas. The Green Table talks sustainability, the Community Table hosts local nonprofits, and local musicians play. Head to the Link Table on the south porch of the Heritage Center if you want LINK Match vouchers for fruit and vegetables, and use a market wagon to haul bags back to the lot.

Our take: Park in the church or farm lot, grab a wagon at the market, and stop at the Link Table on the Heritage Center porch if you are using SNAP.

Parking

Parking in the Saints Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church and Historic Wagner Farm lots. No parking on Wagner Road; cross at the crosswalk. Wagons available to carry purchases back to the lot.

Good to know

Saturdays, 8 am-12 pm, Historic Wagner Farm, 1510 Wagner Road. LINK Match vouchers only for fruits and vegetables.
