About this event
Botanical World Adventures in Hakalau turns its gardens into a Halloween weekend. Saturday night's Haunted Maze, for ages 13 and older, fills a maze the size of a football field with monsters, ghosts and other scary creatures, and the gardens bill it as the only place in Hawaii where thousands of plants seem to come to life after dusk. Sunday's Keiki Scavenger Hunt is the family-friendly option, with children searching for hidden objects around the park and prizes for the winners. Free Halloween treats are handed out, and non-perishable food donations are accepted for a food pantry.

Haunted Maze Saturday 6–9 p.m. (ages 13+); Keiki Scavenger Hunt Sunday 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Adults $10, kids $6. Umbrellas aren't allowed in the maze; ponchos are sold at the guest center.
