About this event
The Vintage Auto Show fills the historic grounds of the Deering Estate in Palmetto Bay with vintage cars from 1965 and older, presented with the Antique Automotive Club of America – South Florida Region and billed as Miami's most exciting car show. As a salute to Charles Deering, first chairman of the International Harvester Company, the estate also displays its 1950 International Harvester Truck, bought new in Chicago by his daughter Marion Deering McCormick. Guests can join a vintage automobile scavenger hunt, play lawn games, take nature preserve tours or explore the trails and Mangrove Boardwalk, and food trucks are on site. The historic house museums are closed during the show.
Our take: Bring blankets, lawn chairs and a small picnic basket, which are welcome on the grounds alongside the food trucks.
Parking
Free parking in the grass lot at SW 164th Street and SW 72nd Avenue and along SW 72nd Avenue between SW 168th and 156th Streets.
