About this event
The Delaware Renaissance Faire in Townsend is a weekend faire of magic, adventure, comedy, and family fun, with grounds listed at 375 Saw Mill Branch Road. Professional shows run across five stages, and an artisan marketplace holds dozens of craft vendors beside food vendors and a locally sourced pub. Visitors can talk with village characters, try archery, axe-throwing, or dagger toss, or battle a knight one on one. The faire is produced by Found Artifact Entertainment.
Our take: Leave time for one stage show and one skill booth, whether archery or a knight fight, instead of trying to cover all five stages in one pass.
