About this event
Thornton Harvest Fest takes over Community Park at 2141 E 95th Ave with a marketplace of more than 100 craft exhibitors, home businesses, and nonprofit booths. The Larkridge Stage rotates live music, while a food court, beer garden, First Responder Row, kid zone with inflatables and a mini train, retro games, free children's pumpkin decorating, and a Magic Matt show fill the rest of the park. Satellite pieces include a burrito-and-doughnut breakfast and low-cost produce at the Active Adult Center, a fishing derby at Grandview Ponds, a skate-park competition, Hugo's Lucha Libre, and an autumn tree sale from Thornton Forestry. Seasonal produce bags are also sold on the festival grounds while supplies last.
Our take: Arrive hungry and work the food court plus the low-cost produce fair before the kid-zone lines build.
Parking
ADA accessible parking is on the north end of the lot at E 95th Ave and Gaylord St. A free bike corral is staffed by Police Explorers; bikes must be picked up before close.
Good to know
The main festival is midday into late afternoon; breakfast, the early produce sale, and the fishing derby start before the park program.
