About this event
Four Mile Historic Park's Pumpkin Harvest Festival, at 715 S. Forest Street in Denver, is a fall weekend at the historic park. The festival includes the pumpkin patch, an accessible patch built for limited mobility and load bearing, a carving and painting station, the SCFD Fun Zone, crafts, tours of the Four Mile House Museum, and historic demonstrations from blacksmithing to beekeeping. A Sensory Station uses touch to explore history. Apple cider churros are the named snack, with food trucks and a Fall Marketplace on the grounds. The Autumn Harvest Community Stage books local artists, bands, and dance groups.
Our take: Start with the historic demonstrations and the Four Mile House tour, then work in the pumpkin patch and a cider churro.
