About this event
Pirates of Emerson calls itself the Bay Area's Halloween tradition and sets four haunted attractions inside a compound at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, entered at Gate 8 on the corner of Bernal and Valley Avenue. General admission covers all four houses, a two-house ticket is the smaller option, a speed pass uses shorter lines, and VIP allows repeat walks as time allows, also on shorter lines. Tickets are online only, with no on-site sales, and capacity limits mean some nights sell out. Entry gates shut one hour before the published close, with no exceptions.
Our take: Buy online early, use Gate 8 at 2005 Valley Ave for rideshare, and be inside before the gates shut an hour ahead of close.

Anyone under 16 must be with someone 21 or older. Closest Uber or Lyft address is Gate 8, 2005 Valley Ave, Pleasanton.
