About this event
The Ontario Arts Festival, produced by the City of Ontario Department of Museum, Arts and Culture with the Chaffey Community Museum of Art, sits between those two museums at 217 South Lemon Avenue. The city says the festival averages 2,000 visitors and treats Ontario as an arts stop in the Inland Empire. More than 60 artist booths cover fine art, textiles, ceramics, digital art, photography, jewelry, metal, and wood. Hands-on workshops and demos include clay throwing, painting, and quilting, with food from local eateries and a bar catered by the Ontario Convention Center. A live band plays through the day.
Our take: Leave time for both museums after the booths, and catch a clay or quilting demo while you are between them.
