About this event
The Hurst Ranch Harvest Festival at 1227 South Orange Avenue in West Covina is a hands-on day for children on the historic ranch. Kids can tour a fairy garden, make butter, pitch hay, pick pumpkins, squeeze juice, grind coffee, make crafts, and sit in a 1923 West Covina fire truck. Also on the grounds are antique cars, farm chores, a house tour, woodworking, a petting zoo, gold panning, Native American craft and storytelling, and quilting, spinning, and weaving demonstrations. Activities are first come, first served. A hamburger lunch is sold, or bring a picnic.
Our take: Arrive when the gate opens if the 1923 fire truck and pumpkin picking are musts, since activities are first come, first served.
Good to know
Some crafts are kids only and need an on-site reservation.
