About this event
The Phoenix Greek Festival invites the valley to Greek food, music, dancing, and an agora of jewelry, art, and grocery items at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1973 E. Maryland Avenue. A live band plays, and dance groups from pre-K through high school perform across the weekend. Self-guided cathedral tours take in faceted glass windows that tell a story of Christ and the disciples, with volunteers on hand to explain Divine Liturgy, baptisms, and communion. Children's activities sit beside the food and shopping.
Our take: Go Sunday if you want the grand finale dance with every group on stage before the grounds close.
Good to know
Friday opens at 3 p.m. and runs to 10 p.m.; Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Cathedral tours end before closing.
