Charleston Halloween weekend road trip 2026
Halloween lands on a Saturday this year, so this Lowcountry weekend leans into it: the Coastal Carolina Fair on Friday night, a farm pumpkin festival in Mount Pleasant on Saturday, a haunted house in North Charleston that night, and a classic car show on Hilton Head Island on Sunday. The Exchange Club's 11-day fair at Exchange Park has rides and a midway, fair food, livestock and art competitions, and free shows around the grounds. Friday gates are open 3 pm to 10 pm.

Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch

The 30th Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch fills a farm field with a corn maze, a Halloween tractor tour, pig races, a petting zoo and a circus show, all in one $15 admission, with pumpkins for sale. Saturday hours are 10 am to 7 pm. Use the farm entrance at 2434 N. Highway 17, not the plantation gate.

Southern Screams Haunted House

This year's show, MACABRE, runs at Holy City Brewing on Aragon Avenue, and Halloween night is on the ticket calendar. You book an arrival time online, check in, and get a text when it's your turn, so you can wait at the brewery instead of in line. Younger kids can come earlier for the lights-on Trick-or-Treat Night, 5 pm to 6 pm.

Sunday is the main Concours day, with collector cars set out on the fairways at 10 Club Drive from 9 am to 4 pm. You can walk right up to the cars and talk with their owners.
