About this event
Cody, called one of America's most iconic and historic Western towns, hosts a three-day gathering of filmmakers, production companies, cinephiles, and students at Big Horn Cinemas on 2525 Big Horn Avenue. Regional work from Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho sits beside select narrative features from award-winning filmmakers across the United States, with a Classic Western Series added for context. High school and college students from that tri-state area can enter shorts of no more than 10 minutes, then meet working filmmakers through panels, workshops, and mentorship. Networking parties round out the weekend.
Our take: Build the day around the tri-state student showcases and the Classic Western Series if regional stories matter more to you than the networking parties.
