Festival of Trees Cody

Festival of Trees – Cody is a nonprofit that raises money for other nonprofits, gathering the community at Cody Regional Health for a week of holiday events. Decorated trees, wreaths, stockings, gift baskets and even corn hole boards go on display and up for auction, and each donor picks the Big Horn Basin nonprofit their item will support. Ticket, game and raffle proceeds go to featured beneficiaries, and in its first four years the festival funded 44 different local organizations.

Our take: Read the tag before you bid; each item's donor chose which local nonprofit gets the money.
