About this event
Apple butter cooks in the street at this Morgan County Chamber of Commerce festival in Berkeley Springs, a weekend of crafts, contests, and a small-town parade. More than 200 vendors set up with live entertainment, while visitors follow a hog-calling contest, a rubber-duck race, blue-ribbon baked goods, and a beard contest. Saturday brings the Apple Butter Parade of floats, bands, and costumes, and a beer garden pours domestic and craft beer plus West Virginia wine and spirits. Friday adds a beer-garden party with food trucks.
Our take: Saturday is the day for the 9 am parade, then the hog-calling contest, duck race, and beard contest.
Good to know
Apple Butter Parade starts at 9:00 a.m. Saturday.
