About this event
Oshkosh Celebration of Lights is a 2.4-mile drive through the EAA Grounds lit with millions of lights, all put up by volunteers, and it draws more than 16,000 vehicles a season. Highlights include a 100-foot tree, more than 120 light-filled trees, sculptured scenes and animated displays, with holiday music on 101.9 FM. Santa visits, wagon rides and special nights for veterans, seniors and local causes round out the season, and proceeds support local nonprofits. New displays appear each year.
Our take: Watch for the sponsored community nights, when cars enter free and a donated hygiene item or canned food is welcome.
