Holiday Folk Fair International

Holiday Folk Fair International, presented by the International Institute of Wisconsin, bills itself as America's premier multicultural festival, with dozens of cultural communities sharing their music, dance, food and traditions at the Exposition Center at Wisconsin State Fair Park. The All Nations Theater stages traditional music and dance, the World Cafe serves traditional dishes, Heritage Lane offers interactive exhibits, and the International Bazaar, Chef's Stage, Coffee House and Tanzhaus round out the fair. This edition celebrates the culture of traditional dance, and proceeds support the institute's cultural education and community programs.

Our take: Graze the World Cafe, where menus run from Afghani Kabul Polao to Czech roast pork with dumplings and Ethiopian tibs with injera.
