About this event
Face painting, monoprint and blockprint making, live music, and poetry share an all-ages arts day in Fairfax County's Mason District, which takes in Annandale, Bailey's Crossroads, Culmore, Lincolnia, and Seven Corners. The Parklawn Ramblers have played the gathering, a cellist has performed "Interstellar," and a community mural and an opening poetry reading have been part of the day. The council behind it was founded in 2024 to build community around the district's multicultural arts traditions. Try a print before the music starts.
Our take: Try a monoprint or blockprint before the live music and the poetry reading.
