About this event
The Marine Corps Marathon runs an iconic course managed by the U.S. Marines through Arlington and the nation's capital. It is the third largest marathon in the United States and the largest in the world that doesn't offer prize money, which earns it the nickname "The People's Marathon," and it is known as the best marathon for beginners. Runners get on-course Marine support, and the weekend also includes the MCM 8K and a 0.8K Kids Run.
